Ez Pickens is a luxurious 2007 54′ Hatteras with C-32 Caterpillar motors that cruise at 34 knots. The boat is set up for serious big game fishing but has everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel but on the water. She is very well maintained and is spared no expense when equipping the boat and maintaining the custom tackle needed to catch a large blue marlin or other pelagic fish. We want to provide our guests and crew the best possible chance to hook and land a fish of a life time.
Not only do we have a 5 star boat but Captain Chuck Wigzell would like to provide a 5 star fishing experience. So we included a continental breakfast, complimentary soft drinks and water. We do not provide alcohol but you may bring your own adult beverages if you would like. The captain and crew are very professional, friendly and experienced. They work great with people and their main goal is to provide a good opportunity to catch fish and make sure you have a fun day on the water.
The boat has all the amenities that you would expect in a boat this size. Air conditioned cabin, satellite TV, wireless internet, laptop, and 4 go pro’s to capture the action is just a few. A full list of the amenities is below. But the owners favorite and main reason why they decided to buy the 54′ Hatteras is the shaded mezzanine seating with cushions in the cockpit. This is a great place for the guests to sit and watch the lures or the fish battle and be a part of the action with the crew and anglers.
Accomodations: …Are you ready to be spoiled?
The 54′ Hatteras Convertible accommodates 6 guests, captain and crew in 3 cabins, including a queen master berth with in suite head, mid ship port, VIP guests stateroom forward with a queen berth and private entrance to the guest/day head. A second cabin with split twin bunks is mid ship to starboard.
The galley is up, port side with Amtico Teak, microwave convection oven, 4 burner electric stove top, trash compactor, 2 Sub Zero fridge drawers and 2 Sub Zero freezer drawers plus a ice machine for your drinks.
The decor is light tones with Berber carpeting, covered by a removable carpet runner and high gloss cherry wood finish throughout vessel.
Upgraded fine leather L-lounge to port with custom fabric dinette cushions. She has Corian counter tops in galley with molded-in-sink and a matching Corian dinette tabletop. Light color texture wall coverings in heads, custom bed coverings and other tasteful appointments throughout the boat.
This 54’s look and hull design are unlike any previous one by the builder, but with the synchronization engaged and power applied to the lead Sturdy control on the pod helm, she shakes off the added weight and assumed the familiar Hatteras bow-high running profile. She’s clearly a performance yacht, attentive to the ocean’s motion. With 4- to 6-foot swells and a 2-foot chop, slight movement of the wheel set her firmly into the wave pattern. Her convex hull has a sharp entry and widens to near-flat at the transom. Twin running strakes provide lift, and double chines forward effectively knock down and deflect spray.
The Release fighting chair does not overwhelm the 149-square-foot cockpit. The free board is fishing friendly, and the transom has a large door sans gate, which keeps the covering boards uniform. Refrigerated stowage beneath the step to the saloon holds beverages and food.
